El Club Baloncesto Uni CajaCanarias tramita desde primera hora de la mañana la posibilidad de jugar el sábado ante el Ensino de Lugo en el Pabellón Municipal de La Salud, ya que el Palacio Municipal de Deportes de Santa Cruz no está disponible para la práctica deportiva al haberse levantado el parquet por varias zonas como consecuencia del agua que entró en el recinto capitalino tras la tormenta del pasado 1 de febrero.
El presidente del club Valentín Santana se reunió esta mañana con responsables del Organismo Autónomo de Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz, a falta de que el Pabellón Municipal de La Salud sea homologada por la Federación Española de Baloncesto para poder disputar encuentros de la segunda categoría del baloncesto femenino español.
La intención del representativo tinerfeño es que el encuentro ante el tercer clasificado, el Ensino de Lugo, se dispute el sábado a las 18.00 horas en el Pabellón Municipal de La Salud.
